ANP Transcription Scam - Class Action Lawsuit

Thank you for visiting my page.  If you were routed here in regards to the ANP Transcription scam run by Larry Perrone and Albert Suied, then let me first say how very sorry I am that you too have been victimized by these two con artists.  If you are considering working for this company, I suggest you google ANP Transcription Scam and reconsider.

I first came across ANP Transcription in my pursuit to work from home in order to balance my life and support my family.  I found their ad on Craigslist and quickly applied.  I passed the screening test and was promptly provided with assignments to complete. My contract was for a net 30 pay, meaning I would be paid 30 days after submission and approval of my monthly invoice.  I started late March and there seemed to be a lot of transition with the invoicing and sites for downloading projects.  Because of this, I was not able to get an invoice from accounting until the end of April.  After approval, I patiently awaited payment, only for it not to arrive.  After some emails, I was notified my check was in the mail.  It was late but did arrive and once I deposited it, it bounced.  That check was for under $300 and should have been an indication of what was to come.  However, in my desperation for work and having income coming in I stuck with it.  The next payment was late as well and then after that I guess they decided that they no longer needed to pay me.  I was consistently lied to regarding when payment was coming and then ignored. Things were taking a bad turn in my finances because I could not get ANP Transcription to stick to the contract terms and provide consistent pay in a timely manner so that I could budget and pay bills on time.  Imagine being unable to pay you bills when due and watching the late fees and threats for non payment rolling in on top of daily phone calls for demand to pay.  Can you say stressful.  I was mentally and emotionally exhausted trying to get Larry and Albert to do what they were obligated to do.  Finally, at the end of my high risk pregnancy and deep into the Holiday season I decided that I would not allow this to happen to me.  I decided to take action.  I contacted the New Jersey Labor and Wage Board only to find that since I am a contractor there is nothing that they can do to help me.  They recommended small claims action.  However, due to the number of contractors affected by this scam, I am pushing forward with a  class action lawsuit.

I found that there are many others that are fighting the same battle.  As I researched, I found complaints as far back as 2008 regarding the same bully tactics from Larry and Albert.

I encourage you to leave your contact information here and amounts owed so that we can move forward collectively to hold ANP Transcription responsible for their scam artist tactics.  So many are still awaiting payments never received and have suffered losses and emotional distress while ANP has unjustly gained from our hard work, late hours of typing and editing and dedication to their business.

Please leave comments and contact information along with amounts owed, including late fees for bills etc.

This page is to be a sounding board and support to all those touched by this ugliness.  Recommendations on how to proceed and/or how and when you successfully collected your funds are welcomed.  if you never collected, let me know that too.

  1. Sad to say I had the same experience. At first they paid on time. After a few months it became late. I was too trusting and allowed the delay because I badly needed money and I'd never had online work before.

I wanted to cry many times because I felt like I was begging for my money to be given to me when it should have been given without prompting. The worst was having to tell my kid that she had to stop school for a while because I couldn't pay for it. The money meant for it never arrived.

Sadly, it is tougher for us to collect since we are so far away from New Jersey. Apparently that is why they felt so safe, knowing we would have such a difficult time getting payment.

I pray no more people get fooled by this company. No one deserves to work and not be compensated fairly and on time.

  2. I know this is a year after you posted this, so I don't know if this has been settled or not, but I am also experiencing the exact same problems. I would be very interested in finding out what happened with your situation.

  3. Wow! ANP is still up to their shenadigans despite the fact that Larry claimed it was all Albert who was failing to pay contract workers and he was oblivious to what Albert was doing. Larry severed ties with Albert about a year or so ago and said that ANP was headed in a new direction and contractors would be paid and paid on time. He stated that he had set up payment plans with all contractors who had not been paid by Albert. If this is happening again with Larry as the sole owner and leader of the company then Larry flat out lied about his knowledge and involvement with this SCAM. Please email me directly at tamika28227@gmail.com and I can let you know what might help you in recovering your funds.
